A MacBook Pro or equivalent PC is essential. An iPad is helpful. We don’t formally teach ProCreate, at least not yet, but I have many many students who use them for aspects of design projects.

I came in knowing the basics of Adobe Creative Cloud but I the curriculum is very much designed in a way where you don’t need to come in knowing anything. The professors are great at guiding you through process of learning these programs

HI Isa, I went to CalArts as an undergrad and it differs greatly. CalArts is an intensive art-focused curriculum. You will track though the Chapman program as an art school with a cohort, but you also have a wide range of liberal arts courses. For some, this helps informs creative work and visa versa.
